The Concorde's Last Flight. |
We saw the Concorde when it landed in Regina and it was impressive. The take-off was so loud that the crops stopped growing for three years. We didn't get inside but it doesn't hold many more passengers than an old DC9, about a 108.
Concorde holds many world records, including fastest crossing of the Atlantic from New York to London in 2 hours 54 minutes and 45 seconds. This is about the time it takes to fly from Regina to Toronto but the fare is 10 to 20 times more.
