June and Curt at the Hololani watching from the lanai for whales. We saw 100's. Some were teaching their young to leap and splash. We also saw schools of dolphins.

The view was terrific and as we were right next to the water we could hear the surf all day and night. This is one of June's criteria for where we stay in Hawaii.

The sunsets were also spectacular but short -- not like the prairies where they go on for hours! People at the Hololani obviously had been there before or were owners because at every sunset they would bring out bugles and conch shells and trumpet the sunset.

The condo had two bedrooms with full baths, living dining room, kitchen and a large balcony called a lanai. All the facilites were there too with washer and dryer. Even a large library!

Great furniture and a large TV with cable.

Restaurants, shopping and supermarkets were close. We walked to this one. It had a micro-brewery too. We ate in most of the time as they had gas barbeques at poolside and Curt is a great cook. This picture was taken by an amateur. One should never point and flash straight into a mirror or window.
